THE CONTEXT

Two precision crafts, an online presence that showed none of it

Sibel and Ebru run a hair and make-up salon in Basel. Two crafts practiced to the millimeter, a loyal clientele — and an online presence that gave no hint of that level of skill. The brief came down to one sentence: make people feel, in under a minute, what a client usually takes years to find — a salon where you're in good hands.

THE CHALLENGE

Filming beauty without betraying it

The beauty industry forgives nothing on camera: it amplifies an imprecise gesture as much as poorly placed light. Every shot in the teaser had to serve one thing — precision.

THE PRODUCTION

A real-conditions shoot, one point of contact

A custom engagement: art direction, location scouting, filming, editing and color grading handled by the founding duo. Gwenaëlle Hiniger built the art direction — palette, light, framing — while Mathieu Cichocki shot and directed two salon owners not used to being on camera. The salon stayed open throughout: production worked around appointments, with real clients on screen. As on every studio project, image-rights releases were drafted, signed and archived by us — Sibel and Ebru had nothing to manage themselves.

BASEL, FAMILIAR GROUND

A Swiss production run from Mulhouse

A shoot in Basel gets planned from Mulhouse over a thirty-minute drive, not a video call. The Mulhouse–Basel–Lörrach–Saint-Louis triangle is Studio Atmos's everyday working area, in French and German: on-site scouting, conversations with Basel clients and vendors in their own language, friction-free travel.

RESULTS

No published numbers — and that's deliberate

Distribution data for this teaser isn't consolidated yet, and Studio Atmos only publishes verified results: no figure appears here until it can be proven. What this case study documents is a precise capability: filming a beauty business with the aesthetic rigor it demands, in Basel, from brief to delivery.

Custom engagement, quoted individually. A first conversation to scope your project, then a clear proposal — and one single point of contact from brief to delivery.
